This site is built upon the growing open-source standard CMS (Content Mgt. System) called WordPress.  CTG recommends starting with an open source CMS such as WordPress or Joomla, and then creating re-usable CSS (Custom Style Sheet) code/objects for your particular site design.  There are a large number of what we call WPW’s or WordPress Widgets which can be added to add functionality to your WordPress sites.

Custom coding a site from scratch in HTML doesn’t make much sense anymore with the plethora of open source CMS systems and accompanying “widgets” or “plug-ins” available as free to use downloads from the supporting community.  We are truly now in the age of object oriented computing, where CSS, widgets and the CMS engine itself can be easily duplicated, replicated and re-used across multiple web properties and purposes.
