The Day(s) Twitter Was Down….

This gentleman from Wired Media, John Abell, apparently had been trying to get an interview with this gentlewoman anchor of CNBC, Ms Contessa Brewer. Long story short, she gave him about 60 seconds to explain what a DDoS attack is, because her Twitter feed was down all day, and she was starting to feel the pain. I watched the clip and then sent out a quick mblog…

In the end, some functionality of Twitter was not restored until 2 or 3 days later. Brewer forgave Twitter, Abell got his interview, and I knew I had no right to feel anger for 3 more days of sparse functionality, because Twitter is a free communication tool. But careful, like other social media tools, it can be dangerous if not handled with care
