Working Mom Times was created for the busy working woman, and is dedicated to my sister, Marsha Taylor Newman, my mom, Marian M. Taylor and my niece, Taylor Nicole Trumble. They are all finally my “friends” on facebook (wasn’t easy
), and hopefully my other friends on facebook will reach out and say hi to these very special women.
The inspiration for WMT came from sister Marsha, who is a hard working French Teacher at the high school level, and also a full time mom of three wonderful kids in Jr. and Sr. High school themselves. Of course she is not alone. Working moms and professional women alike are so busy with family and career, that they must virtually create the time to update their skills and retool themselves for the new economy challenges and opportunities women are facing as we approach 2010 and beyond.
We will be partnering with other professional development entities and adding Consultants/Managing Editors to WMT throughout the coming months and into the new decade. We hope to help create more time for all women looking to grow their career skills, and to help women better manage the balance between career, family and personal life goals that seem to be more than just challenging in our rapidly changing, technology driven 21st century economy. We have much training content planned, which will draw from 25 years of marketing communications and business tech implementation consulting experience. And we hope to have a chance to know and work with as many professional women as we can in the years to come.
WMT is a project by BoomersEdge Media, and is owned by WHT Research, Inc., our parent Marketing Communications Technology and eCommerce Consulting Group, and BoomersEdge Media, our publishing concern. My name is Bob Taylor, and I am hanging around until the women take it over. Pretty much the same thing most men do.
So don’t be shy. Chime in with your comments, suggestions, questions and requests. WMT is looking forward to hearing from you and providing a firm helping hand to the busiest people on the planet!
